The NE-320G-TX/TX1/SC is a Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45/Fiber Adapters are an extension of the widely used 1000/100/10Mbps Ethernet standards for network connectivity. These Gigabit Ethernet Adapters are 100 times faster than Ethernet and 10 times faster than Fast Ethernet. The NE-320G fully implements the V2.2 66 MHz, 64-bit PCI bus interface for host communications with power management support. Packet descriptors and data are transferred via Bus-mastering DMA, reducing the burden on the host CPU, provide the optimal combination of cost and system-level performance for high-performance network connection. It also provides a tenfold increase in Media Access Control data rates to support video conferencing, complex imaging and other data intensive applications.
